ANMHRIS: Anambra Health Record Information System
Project Description
ANMHRIS – Anambra Health Record Information System
Built by Dumos Technologies
A medical record information system for Anambra State, designed to hold patient record histories across facilities within a single governed system. We built it on our own initiative and put it to the state government as a proposal.
Project Overview
The engagement centres on the problems that define public-sector data platforms: record integrity across many contributing sites, controlled access by role and facility, auditability of who viewed and changed what, and an interface usable by staff with a wide range of technical confidence and devices.
Key Features
- Cross-Facility Patient Records – A single governed record history spanning multiple contributing health facilities.
- Role & Facility-Based Access Control – Staff see only what their role and facility permit.
- Audit Logging – Full traceability of who viewed and changed each record.
- Accessible Staff Interface – Designed for users with a wide range of technical confidence and devices.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React, TypeScript
- Backend: Node.js API layer
- Data: Relational data modelling for records and identifiers, role-based access control throughout
ANMHRIS is our closest analogue to public-sector data platform work: the difficulty sits in the data model, the access control and the governance, not the interface. It also shows we are willing to build first and make the case afterwards, at our own cost.
Status: Built and deployed; proposed to the Anambra State Government, awaiting feedback.
